George Fisher, better known by his stage name Corpsegrinder, is an American death metal vocalist who is the lead singer of Cannibal Corpse, Paths of Possession, and the supergroup Serpentine Dominion. He replaced Chris Barnes as the lead singer of Six Feet Under in late 1995, after he had recorded two albums with Monstrosity in Florida before leaving and joining Cannibal Corpse. His debut solo album Corpsegrinder was released on February 25, 2022.
Fisher uses the “death growl” extended vocal technique as a death metal vocalist. He has also become popular for his large neck. He said that he developed a large neck by headbanging and lifting weights when he was younger.
