An icon in the world of music, Zachary Phillip Wylde (formerly Jeffrey Phillip Wielandt) is a legendary American musician most known for his work as the lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne and Black Label Society- an acclaimed heavy metal band he founded, leads guitar/vocals on, produces and writes songs for.
His eye-catching bulls-eye design can be seen on many of his guitars and has become iconic. As the lead vocalist and guitarist for Pride & Glory, he released a self-titled album in 1994 before disbanding. Wylde followed up with two solo albums – Book of Shadows and Book of Shadows II – to further solidify his place as an artist. Finally in 2022, Wylde returned to Pantera as Dimebag Darrell’s replacement until today.

Personal life
Wylde and his wife, Barbaranne, have four children: Hayley Rae, Hendrix, Sabbath Page, and Jesse.
Wylde had a deep bond with his fellow guitarist, “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott. After the tragic death of his friend while performing on stage in 2004, Wylde dedicated the song “In This River” to him in tribute and remembrance.
